Japanese breakfast

What do Japanese people eat for breakfast? Many people in Japan eat a Western-style breakfast. Japanese traditional breakfast consists of rice, miso soup and various side dishes. Japanese breakfast have some side dishes, for example broiled or grilled fish, rolled omelet, soft-boiled egg, tsukemono pickles, dried seaweed, natto, and so on, but today, some people eat other foods such as bread with coffee, serial and so on.

Japanese Curry

I’d like to tell about Japanese curry. Curries are very popular dishes in Japan. Japanese-style curries are usually thicker than curries found in other cuisines. Using Japanese curry roux such as House, S&B and Glico, makes it easy to cook Japanese-style curry at home. Curry mixes thicken curry sauce and vary from hot to mild. They contain many kinds of spices and vegetables and fruit essences.
Typical Japanese curries contain vegetables, such as onion, carrots, and potatoes, and meat. Chicken, pork, beef, or seafood can be used for curries. Also, ingredients can be vegetable only if you prefer. Many people cook a large amount of curry at a time and keep it for a few days. It is said that it tastes more delicious when people eat curry after made several days. For Japanese, Thai curry is not similar because they contain coconut milk. If you came to Japan and ate Japanese curry, you might be surprised.

Nijo Castle

Are you interested in Japanese world heritages? Have you ever been to Nijo Castle? Of course I have. Nijo Castle is famous because the last shougun; Yoshinobu Tokugawa held Taiseihoukan(Shougunate gave back poritical power to emperor.) And Uguisubari. Uguisubari is a system of making aisle. when people are walking aisle, it alway makes noise like twitter of bush warbler. So Shougun or some Samurai prevented assassins from invading. When I went there, I walked that aisle, it made noise like twitter of bush wawrbler. I was happy and felt good. How can it be built? I do not know, builders' technic was so high, I think.

Japanese curry

I will introduce my home’s curry. Japanese people often eat curry. They have original recipe and topping. Some people put pork cutlet on curry some people put a medium boiled egg on curry. I like a curry put cheese on.

In Japan, many people put potato, onion, carrot and beef in curry. We cut and stew them. Next we mix curry roux and stew. We dish up rice and pour the curry. When we eat a curry, we use a spoon and some people dip rice into curry and some people mix curry and rice.

How to make curry is very easy so in Japan we make curry at festival which is held by region and class of home economics in elementary school.

Recently a lot of food which use curry are invented for example curry udon, curry pan and curry nabe.

What’s the main ingredient in Thai curry?

Kiyomizu Temple

I introduce you Japanese world helitage, especially I introduce you Kiyomizu Temple.
That temple is in Kyoto prefecture and it fascinates a lot of people. This temple is the one of the most famous sightseeing spot in Kyoto. It is crowded with tourists in and out season. I recommend visiting the temple in spring because the cherry blossoms are very beautiful.
I explain about the Otowa waterfall. The Otowa waterfall is located in Kiyomizu temple. Its waters are divided into three separate streams, each stream's water is said to have a different benefit, namely to cause longevity, success at school and a fortunate love life. Visitors can drink the water.
Which water do you want to drink? Why don't  you visit Kyoto?
